DON'T #PrayForNaija!!! 😐

I've been forced to put pen to paper after seeing the hashtag once again. Different tragedies keep happening and all we do is trend meaningless hashtags; #PrayForBenue#PrayForPlateau, #PrayForBerger #PrayForThis#PrayForThat!
Look, praying will NOT solve anything! Let's stop making mockery of the God we claim to believe in...making it look as if He doesn't answer prayers.
If prayer (ALONE) works the magic, we shouldn't be in this state that we find ourselves as a nation...cos, Naija; WE DEY PRAY!
Countries that aren't praying half as much as we pray are working. Nothing; ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is working in this country.

Let's tell ourselves the truth for once!
I also hear people say we should go get our PVCs. Sorry to burst your bubble; even getting PVCs won't solve the problem...cos when you get your PVC, who do you want to vote for?
The same old recycled politicians that have continually crumbled this country for decades???
You and I know that the new faces springing up stand almost NO chance.
Truth is, if we (as an oppressed group of people) don't come together to fight the system...
...to fight a system that only empowers the rich thieves to get richer and the poor; poorer.
...to fight the system that puts the petty thief in jail for 10-15years while the bigger thieves who steal billions fly private jets all over the world...
...to fight a system where the laws are for the poor (even though we don't obey them - but that's gist for another day), while the rich are totally above the law...
...to fight a system where some influential people put guns in the hands of ignorant individuals and make them kill innocent citizens; BH & Herdsmen very good examples!
...to fight a system where about 2000 people consistently put almost 200million people in a state of perpetual poverty...
I could go on and on. But if we don't fight the system, nothing will happen!
For your info, Nigeria just overtook India as the country with the highest number of people living in extreme poverty; 87million poor people...with 6persons getting poor every minute.
This took me about 6minutes to write. Who knows? I may just have joined about 35 other people (falling into extreme poverty) while writing this... that's if I wasn't even there before...cos right now, I don't even understand this "owu" wey dey blow lately.
Anyway, I think my point is made. Enough of the prayer. DON'T PRAY4NAIJA!
My name is krAzy! I don yarn!!

THE RICH vs THE REST OF US

THE RICH vs THE REST OF US

I am writing to Chukwudi and Ngozi, from the southeast who hustle legitimately anywhere in the country, to Abubakar (and Aisha) from the north, who struggle day and night just to fend for their families. To Ifiok, who against all odds, ekes out a living from the works of his hands. Even Adedayo and Kamoru from the southwest; Esosa and Tega from the middle-belt, you’re not forgotten. For clarity, if you do any LEGITIMATE hustle in Naija, you’re the one I’m referring to as “TheRestOfUs”, and this write-up is for you. If you cut corners, if you cheat, if you steal public funds (just as most of our politicians have been doing in this country for decades), you’re the one I’m mostly referring to as “TheRich”.

They give these things different colourations (Ethnic/Religious/Gender and all) and make “TheRestOfUs” fight and kill ourselves. If you think I’m wrong, let me ask you; how many of “their children” have been abducted (or killed) by BH? How many of their children have died in religious crisis? How many of their children have been victims of political crisis? Farmers vs Herdsmen; How many of their children are the farmers that have been killed… or the herdsmen? Let’s face it, pals, we all have a common enemy; TheRich.

It really amazes me when I see supporters of these politicians go at each other on social media. It sometimes degenerates into insults and quarrels. But come, what have these guys (TheRich) done for you as a person? Yet, they have laws which largely empowers them (TheRich) and makes it impossible for us (TheRestOfUs) to break into the circle.

Come to think of it:
They don't ply the bad roads and spend hours in traffic like we do daily!
They don't use our dead healthcare systems! They fly abroad –even for the treatment of common headache.
They don't rely on NEPA; PHCN!
Their children don’t have to deal with the shame that our education sector has become!
For these reasons, it’s quite understandable that they aren’t bothered about our plights.

#TheRestOfUs need to rise up. We need to take our destinies in our hands. I've said it on countless occasions and I'll say it again. We need a massive revolt against the political class. If you're not part of “TheRich", then you're obliged to join this movement. "TheRestOfUs" need to wake up and do something! I made a suggestion in my previous write-up but I think I’m done trying to convince you so I’ve thought out my personal plan B.

I’ve realized that one easy way to become (individually) free is to either join them in politics or marry one of their children. (I’M IN LOVE WITH KANYINSOLA ooooo)…But then, how many of us will their children marry? I’ve been looking for ANY of their kids all my life and it took me a while to realize that my efforts in that regard will never yield any fruits. #TheRich only get married to themselves (a couple of weeks ago, Kano State Governor’s daughter and the son of Oyo State governor got married. Over the weekend, Dangote’s daughter got married to Dikko Abubakar who is the son of the former Inspector General of Police. The Vice president’s daughter; Damilola also got married to the son of Bola Shagaya; a prominent billionaire oil magnate).

Let’s be realistic for a minute.
They will continue to get married to themselves…
…their kids don’t attend the same school as #TheRestOfUs.
They don’t live in the same areas as #TheRestOfUs.
They don’t go to the same hospitals as #TheRestOfUs.
They don’t attend the same worship centers as #TheRestOfUs, neither do we relax in the same joints/clubs.
Apparently, we live in different worlds. We’re probably never going to meet them, talk-less of “marry them”.

Well, since you’re too scared to join a massive revolt, at least it’s not too much to ask that you help me achieve my PLAN B. KANYINSOLA is the Vice-President’s 2nd daughter. Please, tell someone to tell somebody else to tell another person to tell the Vice president (& KANYINSOLA) that krAzy is in love with his daughter (her)!
In the long run, if we can pull this off, (at least), you'll be a friend to the son-in-law of the vice president. That one sef, nor be bad profile for you. 😉
